Candy Cane Kisses

Good Saturday morning!  It’s the weekend (happy dance time)! It is also day THREE of the OCTOBER Kraftin’ Kimmie peeksand we have my favourites of this release to show you!

Today we are SO thrilled to share the newest set of super cute kiddos by artist CHERYL GRANT! This adorable set features our kids Lexi, Lucas and Lulu having some holiday fun and is called CANDY CANE KISSES! This fun set includes THREE main images plus FIVE awesome sentiments!

Today, I chose to team up Lexi with some Doodlebug paper, colouring her up with Copics to coordinate with the paper.  I have tried to keep my Christmas cards a little less “dimensional” this year to save myself on postage, but I think the black borders really help the layers pop and give the card dimension without height!  I think this is one of my favourite cards of the season so far! An image that is a blast to colour, and rich on details – it really does steal the show!

Since it is Saturday, it is also challenge time, and this week our challenge hostess is TANGII.  Her challenge is ANYTHING GOES, so create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp (but if you use a Kraftin’ Kimmie stamp you’ll double your chances to WIN)!

It’s day two of the October sneak peeks at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, and we have a cute one for you today!  

This set, set from artist THAIS NARCISO features THREE main images and FIVE awesome coordinating sentiments! This fabulous set is called MERRY CHRIST-MOUSE!

I decided to team up this stocking cutie with some Doodlebug paper, and then coloured him up with Copics to match.  I worked with some simple layers – I am trying to keep my Christmas cards a little flatter this year so it doesn’t cost a fortune to send!  What do you think – does it seem like it is missing something?

Fairy Fun!

Have I got a treat for you today!  It’s time for the HOLIDAY STAMP SET RELEASE from Kraftin’ Kimmie stamps, and you are going to love all the new images that Kim has up her sleeve! Today is day ONE of the seek peaks, and we are showcasing two sparkly new Moonlight Whispers stamp sets by Annie Rodrigue! 

Now, I am absolutely in love with both of the beauties featured today, but I decided to start with POMPOM FAIRY.  I coloured her up in some Christmas-themed colours to coordinate with the Doodlebug paper I still had from last Christmas (it’s still as cute a year later), and then had a bit of fun doodling and adding a sentiment.  I really loved all the details on this stamp and wanted her to take centre stage, so I decided to use a centre step card to give Miss PomPom lots of space.

Happy Saturday!  It is challenge day at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, and this week, our hostess is Krafty Girl, BECKY! Her challenge is called EMBELLISH IT, so create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp or any other stamp and be sure to use at least one embellishment.

My “go to” embellishments are almost always ribbon and adhesive rhinestones.  I thought the black and white chevron ribbon would be a perfect match with this darling panda stamp from the “Wild About you” set.  I also decided to go with a few black ahdesive rhinestones – to tie together the black matte on the stamped image and also to stand out a bit from the printed paper.  Oh, and that message hiding behind the bow actually says “sweet”! 😉
