In my family, March is our crazy birthday month. But in my husband’s family, September seem to be one of the months that drains my birthday card supply!! Typically, my birthday card designs do not have a seasonal theme, but DCWV’s new stack called Autumn Splendor had me creating every type of card I could think of with a fall theme!
This little fun easel card (if you need instructions on creating an easel card, check out this stepped-out tutorial at SplitCoastStampers), is a festive collection of blues, yellows, oranges, and gold (yes…beautiful foil embellishments are everywhere on this stack)!
Now, before you leave me all sorts of witty comments about my bow being upside down, let me reassure you that it was intentional (so now you can leave the comments about me intentionally tieing my bow upside down). 🙂 I actually just really liked the way that the ends of the pretty May Arts ribbon framed the flowers. My brain still does a double take when I look at it, but I kind of like that too! I have a couple of more days before I need to send this one off, so I still have time to snip those loops so it doesn’t look quite so much like an upside down bow. I don’t know – what do you think?
Love it . . . and with the blue in there it doesn’t have to be a “fall” theme. GREAT job (as usual)!!!
Hmmmm, sorry Karen, it looks like an upside down bow to me 😉
Super pretty card though!
