Soooo sweet!

Good morning crafty peeps and happy Saturday.  Let’s see – this weekend could not have come fast enough. But the good news is I now have a bit of time for a good rest and a bit of crafty fun!  Starting with some Tiddly Inks!

This cutie is one of Christy’s characters named Molly.  This particular version of Molly is a dig called Molly Treat.  I love colouring Molly’s hair…

…and I decided to give yellow a try for her dress.  It’s funny – yellow is not usually my go to colour for large sections of my stamps.  But I love how bright and fun it looks together with the Doodlebug paper.  I don’t know – what do you think?  Does yellow suit Molly?

Well, whatever you have planned this weekend, I hope it involved a rest, some crafting and maybe even a bit of a treat (perhaps not one as big as Molly’s, but a treat nonetheless)!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!  It’s hard to believe that the Christmas season is behind us and we are on to a new year!  With new years come new challenges…but unlike the ones that life throws at us, colouring challenges are much more fun!  So let’s start the year with one from Tiddly Inks!

This month, Christy and Lou are starting us off easily with Anything Tiddly Inks Goes!! So put on your Tiddly mojo and go with the flow!! (**remember…We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I used one of the new stamps in the store called Hello My DeerThis cutie is a great multi-purpose stamp that you can use for all sorts of events.  I coloured it up with my trusty Copics and added a hand-lettered sentiment.  I stuck it down on some cute Doodlebug paper, topped it off with a May Arts ribbon bow and I was all set.

Tiddly Ink challenge #1 (for the new year anyway) in the bag!

So, any great New Year’s resolutions on your plate?

It’s my birthday!

It’s my birthday!  And am I going to tell you how old I am?  Um – no!  But I am going to share a fun little card I made using the super cute set from Tiddly Inks called Fun Animals!

If you haven’t seen this little digi set, it is filled with a bunch of cute little animals together with some great accessories.  You can layer the accessories on top of the animals like I did for this one (a party hat on top of the rabbit) or just leave each as a stand alone (like I did with the presents)!  They really are cute as can be (and a really easy colour as well if you are need of a quick card).

I teamed up this little bunny with some of my favourite Doodelbug paper…and yes, I do have my Copics sorted to match Doodlebug’s colour palette (it makes colouring and matching to paper and accessories a breeze).

So, I am going to go and enjoy some cake – you should too (just in case you need a reason to have cake)!

Hugs from mummy!

Halloween is just around the corner and I have to admit that I am having so much with Halloween crafts this year! A few years ago, Halloween was not a time of year that I got all excited about in the crafts department…until I discovered the world of cute spook crafting…like this cute stamp from Tiddly Inks called Pum’kin Juice Party.

This month over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog, we have a challenge all about Halloween, so I thought it might be fun to pull together another sample to inspire some more creations.  This cute was coloured up with Copics to match some of Doodlebug’s newest Halloween-themed collection – Booville.  Teamed up with a handwritten sentiment from this “mummy”, I can’t wait to give this to one of my little munchkins in a couple of weeks.

How about you?  Do you have any Halloween crafts on the go right now?
