Molly fun in March

Good morning craft peeps!  It may be a snowy day here in Calgary, but I swear that I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.  It may be Canada, but it can’t keep snowing forever, can it?

Just in case, I decided to create a card that was as springy as it could be!  This cutie is a stamp from Tiddly Inks called Molly Shares This month, we are hosting a challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog that features this adorable character named Molly.  There are a bunch of darling Molly images in the store, so make sure you check her out!

I grabbed my trusty Copics and decided you colour Molly up as a bit a redhead.  I worked with a base colour of E31, and layered my E11/E13/E15 combination on top. It’s not a high contrast look, but I really like the colour on here!  Her dress features the BG11/13 combination.

To finish off the card, I used some Doodlebug paper scraps matted on some textured cardstock and then topped off the card with some ribbon from May Arts.  I think it’s a fun multi-use card that’s great for the season (or the one I am hoping for anyway)

Make sure you pop on over to the challenge blog to check out the great inspiration from the DT members, and see all the cute Molly goodness.

Thanks for stopping by!
