DD Dragon tails

Okay wait a minute?!  How did I miss posting this project?  I created this layout last spring for Doodlebug and it has become one of my absolute favourite projects!  So the time has come to share it here as well…because it doesn’t get cuter than vikings, right?!

A couple of years ago, we took a trip to Disney World and while we had a great time at all the parts, we had some particularly fun memories at Epcot.  One of those memories was when my dear hubby donned a viking helmet because my youngest absolutely refused to put that thing on here head!  When this cute collection – called Dragon Tails –  came out, I knew it would be perfect for this photo.

Originally, I was going to do the journaling along the edges of the waves, but there were some images on the background paper that didn’t get completely covered by the waves, so I decided to create some hidden journaling, using the waves to create a pocket for the tag.

Oh, and I ended up having so much fun with this collection that I created some candy bar sliders as well.  All the details for both projects are still up over at the Doodlebug blog!

Anyway, it might be a bit late, but I hope it brought a smile to your face today!

Thanks for stopping by!
