Cream and Sugar 2

Hi everyone! Guess what?  I am so excited to announce that I get to join Doodlebug for another year!  Joining this team was a thrill last year, and I had a great time creating with some of the most beautiful product around from an incredibly generous and fun company. So, when they asked if I would like to continue, it took less than a second to reply “YES!”.

Last year, when I started on the team, Cream & Sugar was the first collection that I was introduced too.  It has remained one of my favourites, not just for sentimental reasons, but also because as a coffee lover with a serious sweet tooth, I feel like this collection was made for me.  And given all the comments and cute project we have seen from all of you, we know it is a favourite of yours as well!

So for my first project this term, I thought I would go back to my card making roots!  You know I love my interactive and fun fold cards, so it was fun to pull out some of my old stand-bys…like side step cards!

And if a side step card is not your jam, a traditional A2 might work for you!

I have more pictures and plenty of details up over at the Doodlebug blog if you want to stop by!  In the meantime, I hope you can find some time to do a little crafting on what is left of this weekend!  I know I have a couple of projects up my sleeve!

Thanks for stopping by!

In terms of sentiments, that part was easy too!  I simply grabbed some stickers from the This & That sticker sheet , backed them with some paper from the 12×12 pack (although the 6×6 would be perfect too), and stick them on!

Add some Sprinkles (like these cute Cupcake coloured ones) and maybe a mini paper clip or two and you are all set!

So there you have it – a cute set of three cards ready for Valentine’s day next month, or any time that you want to send a little message that will make someone smile.  For now, these little cuties are going to find a place in my crafty space because quite frankly, they make me smile!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs,
Karen
