Wintery Blues

On of the things that I love about Calgary is that we have a big blue sky for most of the winter.  While the snow does roll in every now and again, and the temperatures can make your toes curl, we are one of the sunniest cities in North America.  And in the depths of winter, that can be some welcome sunshine!

Blue-full

Blue-closeupSo today’s Tiddly Ink challenge, called “Wintery Blues” was perfect!  Winter can definitely be a time to be blue, but being blue doesn’t have to be a bad thing as you will see in all the inspiration cards from the design team today! I decided to work with Wryn in the Fall, a very cheerful and happy looking little gal.  I worked with differenet blue combinations – B12, B14 and B18 for her coat; B41 and B45 for her dress, and B39 and B18 for her scarf.  Blue is not usually a “go-to” colour for me, so this was a lot of fun!

I hope you will consider joining us for our challenge.  You have two weeks to get crafty, and then to link up.  We always love seeing what you have been up to on Facebook.  Oh, and because of the holidays, we won’t have as many challenges as usual so get in on this one while you can!

Have a great day, and thanks for topping by!
