It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It’s release time at Kraftin’ Kimmie stamps, and I cannot tell you how excited I am about these new stamps!  They are going to knock your socks off, starting with two amazing new sets from artist Cheryl Alger.

If you’ve been here at ScrappyCancuk Studios before, you’ll know that Cheryl is one of my favourite stamp artists because two of her cute characters – Lexi and Lulu – actually remind me of my two little gals.  So today, I decided to use both Lexi and Lulu for some Christmas card fun!

This new stamp featuring Lulu on a Christmas tree hunt (from the YOU’RE SO COOL set) was so much fun to colour.  I was a little intimidated by the tree at first, but it was very forgiving as I used my Copics and did a bit of experimenting.  I love the warmth of this card, and Lulu just looks like a little gal on a mission!  I think she is adorable!

The second card actually features Lexi – also from the YOU’RE SO COOL set.

Birdie-closeupLexi was also coloured up with Copics and then fussy cut so I could place her on top of the layered circles.  This layout was a bit of an experiment for me, but I think it’s a fun change from my usual layered rectangles! 😉

All the Krafty Girls listed below have lots of super FUN designs to show you, so be sure to hop over to each of them! And while you’re there, be sure to leave a comment because we are giving away one of EACH of the new sets!!! You could WIN one of the new HAVE AN ICE DAY! and YOU’RE SO COOL! stamp sets!!!!! {All of this week’s winners will be announced at the online party on Saturday night!}

And don’t forget to come back tomorrow because we have more new releases to share with you!

Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!
