Okay, I know that April just started and Mother’s Day is over a month away, but I have been on a card making roll so I thought I would just roll with it! And hey, if it helps you all out with a little bit of spring inspiration for your upcoming Mother’s day projects, all the better, right??!!!
This month, the Trendy Twine challenge is all about flowers, stamps, the colour yellow and Trendy Twine! For this card, I teamed up some cute paper from Echo park with Trendy Twine’s Lemon Tart colour. This is the perfect colour for spring flower projects – it can add just the right amount of dimension to a flower to make is stand out, but still be compact enough that it won’t cost you a fortune to ship!
To create this flower, I simply fussy cut the shape, and then looped the twine round the centre, adhering in place with Glossy Accents. I topped it off with a little circle also cut from the flower, but a button or brad would be equally cute!
This stamped image is actually from the Spring Trinket collection at Kraftin’ Kimmie and is stamped in Distress Ink (Old Paper). I love how it blends in to all the patterns and texture on the card!
